I have been busy cleaning up my garden, raking leaves to go into the compost bin and and fighting moles. I never had a mole problem when I had my rat terrier he would deliver them to my back door dead and ready to be disposed of....man I miss that dog. I'm trying to get rid of the grubs which is supposed to help get rid of the moles.  The weather here has been so nice it is hard to stay indoors.  We are supposed to be getting some cold weather this week so I thought that would get me inside and stop thinking about gardening but then the seed catalogs started to arrive and I love seed catalogs  will not be ordering much this year ( I have to keep repeating that over and over).

I did manage to make a gardening apron using some scrap fabric and my husbands old overalls without dragging my sewing machine outside that sounds strange but I do take my sewing machine outside to sew sometimes when the weather is nice (now I sound strange so I'm going to stop typing now).
The weather is pretty nice so I'm hoping to finish my cold frame today I'll post some pictures when I'm finished with it.

  2. Hi Jeana-

The soup looks delish and perfect for a cold day - like today!!! Soup is my fav food along with a Panera Baguette.
I also love your apron - how cute, chic, and handy.
